Our association apiary has been up and running in Greenscene in Kilquade since May 2025. As it was our first year, we started with a team of 12 leaders who ran a rota for weekly inspections. Each Saturday 2 leaders were joined by 4 of our association members who wished to get more hands on experience with the bees, opening hives and keeping colony records. Judging by the feedback, our members found this very helpful. We look forward to building on this success and using the apiary for more educational purposes in 2026
